Black Adam – who is he?
Black Adam is a hero of American comic books published by DC Comics. He is mainly known as the greatest enemy of the famous Captain Marvel (Shazam). Its creators are Otto Binder and Charles Clarence Beck. The character first appeared in the pages of The Marvel Family from Fawcett Comics in 1945. Back then, however, it was a one-off performance. The hero, however, returned in the DC comics several decades later.
Black Adam is from Egypt and was born Teth-Adam. The sorcerer Shazam gave him great power, but he used it brutally, killing the pharaoh. The penalty for this act was exile to distant regions of the Universe. After returning to Earth, Adam realized that Shazam had granted Captain Marvel powers, which infuriated our hero. He decided to regain his power, but succumbed to deception, which contributed to his death.
In the 1970s, Black Adam found his way to the DC comic universe. Doctor Sivana resurrected a hero who made a journey back in time. He wanted to destroy the Rock of Eternity, the seat of the Wizard Shazam, but Captain Marvel successfully thwarted him. Over the years, the history and character of Black Adam in comics has changed and evolved. However, what remains the same is rivalry with Captain Marvel.
Today, Black Adam is one of the most famous anti-heroes in the world. No wonder that the villain will soon become the main character of the movie, the action of which will take place in the DC Extended Universe.

Black Adam and Shazam
Shazam, otherwise known as Captain Marvel, is also a comic book hero initially published by Fawcett Comics and then by DC. The creators of the characters were in 1939 Bill Parker and Charles Clarence Beck. Shazam made his comics debut in Whiz Comics His real name is Billy Batson.

The postponement of work on production also changed the initially planned release date. Originally Black Adam was to debut in December 2021, but the premiere was postponed to July 29, 2022. The information appeared in March this year on the Instagram profile of Dwayne Johnson. However now we know that the world premiere will take place on October 21, 2022.
Cast in Black Adam
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will play the role of the title character. He was originally scheduled to star in Shazam! However, these plans did not come to fruition. The actor is known, among others, from such productions as the Fast and the Furious series, Jumanji: Jungle Adventure or The Young Rock. In addition to Johnson, Black Adam also includes Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets), Pierce Brosnan (GoldenEye), Aldis Hodge (Hidden Actions), Sarah Shahi (Just Like Love), Marwan Kenzari (Aladdin), Joseph Gatt (Thor) or Uli Latukefu (The Young Rock).
It is also known which characters will be played by some of the actors. Sarah Shahi will star as Adrianna Tomaz, who became a superhero named Isis in the DC comics and married Black Adam. Noah Centineo will play a member of JSA Atom Smasher. The same will be the case of Aldis Hodge, who will play the role of the leader of this group – Hawkman. Pierce Brosnan will be the next hero associated with JSA – Kent Nelson. Quintessa Swindell will play the role of Cyclone.

In a final photo, Dwayne Johnson revealed the back of his impressive Black Adam costume. Even a small fragment shows the unique structure of the outfit and details elaborated with the smallest detail.
The premiere of Black Adam is less than a few months away.
